Clean Chemistry

Clean Chemistry has developed a family of liquid chemistries that evolve Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). This is the next generation of oxidants and disinfectants. Singlet oxygen and superoxide are powerful, selective oxidants with environmentally benign residuals. Clean Chemistry has developed and patented the only known production processes for large scale quantities of these ROS in easy to use, liquid formulations. The US EPA has recognized Clean Chemistry for innovating and commercializing low-cost chlorine alternatives.
GridCure

GridCure is working to bring about a sustainable energy future through increased connectivity and communicative electrical networks. Their mission is to build a System-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that helps electrical utilities leverage their smart grid data to make better operational and financial decisions by transforming their data into valuable analytics and actionable insights.

WUNDER

Wunder is transforming the solar financing system to make it more efficient, transparent, and customer-friendly. They use technology to screen solar projects faster and more accurately than a bank, lowering the cost of credit and passing the savings back to investors in the form of strong returns.

Solar Edge

The SolarEdge portfolio of products includes power optimizers, highly efficient PV inverters and a web portal for module-level monitoring and fault detection. The SolarEdge system enables harvesting more solar power from any PV system by effectively removing the known system constraints across the photovoltaic energy space.

Rhumbix

Rhumbix modernizes construction field operations, helping builders go paperless in the field and improving how they measure and manage labor productivity. Their Field Intelligence Platform™ is a cloud-based mobile workforce management solution that collects and digitizes data from previously paper-based workflows. This ensures all project stakeholders have the best data, when they need it, to make better decisions and draw actionable insights setting a standard for the “digital age” foreman. Headquartered in San Francisco, California, Rhumbix was founded in 2013 by Navy veterans with deep experience in the construction industry and is backed by tier-one investors.

Opus12

Opus12 was one of six clean energy startups selected from around the country to be incubated in the first cohort of the prestigious Cyclotron Road program at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. With a team comprised of material scientists, and engineers with cutting-edge expertise in the field of CO₂ electrocatalysis and electrochemical reactor design, Opus12 built a reactor that can convert CO₂ into a wide variety of high-value chemicals. The company is uniquely positioned to expand their solution and bring profitable carbon capture to commercial scale.

ASTRUM SOLAR (DIRECT ENERGY SOLAR)

Renamed Direct Energy Solar after being acquired by the Texas energy company in 2014. Direct Energy uses industry-leading processes and solar irradiance mapping technology to evaluate a home’s potential for solar, and then custom-design, install, and support the system for maximum savings.

Cool Energy

Cool Energy supplies a breakthrough power conversion product called the ThermoHeart® Engine. Thermal energy is collected from sources such as industrial exhaust stacks, stationary power generators, and thermal pollution control equipment, which each emit hot gas with temperatures up to 700°C. The thermal energy is collected from these gas streams and used by the ThermoHeart® Engines to generate electrical power. Producing up to 25 kilowatts of clean electricity from each module, the ThermoHeart Engines are quiet, low-maintenance, and extremely efficient. In initial performance testing, a 320° Celsius temperature difference produced nearly 30% conversion efficiency! No other product or technology has demonstrated such a high performance under similar conditions.
